Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented senior tax accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing all tax-related activities of the company, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations, timely submission of required reports, and handling interactions with tax and insurance authorities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and up to date with the latest tax laws.

• Managing tax and insurance audits effectively.
• Providing practical solutions to reduce tax and insurance risks.
• Collecting supporting documents for tax and social security audits

Requirements:

• Proficiency in preparing and submitting quarterly tax reports.
• Expertise in working with the Modian system and timely submission of relevant reports.
• Deep understanding of tax and insurance matters, including regulations and procedures.
• Proven experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements.
• Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in tax and insurance matters.
• Solid understanding of Iranian tax laws, Modian system, and social insurance regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with tax dispute resolution and defense petitions is a strong asset
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a significant plus.
